If you're in Portland, Oregon today, avoid the Fremont Bridge (nasty traffic this morning), but get over to Blue Sky tonight for a sneak peek at Suk Kuhn Oh's "The Text Book (Chulsco & Younghee) and Livia Corona's "Enanitos Toreros." Livia, one of our Critical Mass 2008 Top 50, will be on hand to speak about her work at 6:30. First Thursday opening and book signing tomorrow from 6 to 9.

If you're in Zurich, get thee to Walter Keller for Gabriel Benaim's solo exhibition "Tel Aviv at 100." Select photographs from this series are also in the current Portfolio Showcase 4: Book and online exhibition through the Center for Fine Art Photography. Juried by Kate Ware, this exhibition and physical book that you can hold in your hands, features quite a few other CM and Review participants, including Rita Maas, Jon Edwards, Nan Brown, and Ellen Rennard. Congrats all.

If you're anywhere else and can't attend these events, you should really quit wasting your time on the internet and work on your application for the Siskind Foundation's Individual Photographer's Fellowship. Deadline is May 17th.
